CASA screens, trains and professionally supervises community volunteers to serve as mentors and powerful advocates for children in foster care who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected. The CASA Advocate is appointed by a judge to serve as the child’s consistent support during foster care, until a safe, permanent home is found.
