|
| The For CASA
Children Fund was formed by volunteer advocates who were aware
that many of the children who enter the court system are unable to enjoy
the most basic things in life that other children can take for granted.
School supplies, sports equipment, classes in dance or music are just
a few of the things the For CASA Children Fund can provide
for children. -
A six year old boy has been reunified with his mother. She has become
a very protective and concerned mother and has worked diligently to
do all the court has asked of her. Her son did not do well in foster
care and his mother is very important to him. The CASA feels that it
is crucial that the mother and son build a trusting relationship with
each other. The child loves to climb, so the CASA suggested the mother
and her son take rock climbing classes together at Pacific Edge Climbing
Gym. The For CASA Children Fund provided an opportunity for
the mother to show her son that she is there for him. |
