CASA's annual Community Awards are held to recognize those whose efforts support CASA's vision "that every child will have a safe, nurturing home and grow into a healthy contributing member of our community."

Each year we invite our community to enjoy this relaxing social gathering, to help honor our award recipients and to learn more about the children CASA serves in Santa Cruz County.

This event honors our outstanding individuals who have demonstrated a special commitment to the well-being of foster children in Santa Cruz County.

CASA's 2011 Community Award Winners are:
Educator – Danielle Cruz, Teacher
Individual - Allison Cruz, Attorney
Business – Santa Cruz Sentinel
Organization – Resurrection Catholic Community
Each has made an important contribution to foster children in our community.
